Super excited to welcome the fabulous makers of Botanist & Barrel and DeFi Wines behind the bar with me here at Ivory Road!
We’ll be tasting 5 of their wines, including 3 (!!) Pet Nats, highlighting NC fruit & terroir. Don’t be afraid… come give these a try! Let us try to change your mind about muscadine wine…. !!!
Did you know? DeFi Wines focuses on minimal-intervention winemaking, spray-free native grapes like Muscadines, co-ferments, and highlighting true Southern regional terroir rather than mimicking European styles.
While the wine bar will be open normally from 4-8pm, this tasting will go from 4:30-6:30pm, and is $10 (or free for Wine Club members!). Tasting fee is waived with any DeFi bottle purchase.
