Our first collaboration charity dinner last year was a wild success — so, we’re back! Revitalized & energized for round 2!

Plates with Purpose is a chef-collaboration dinner event with 100% of proceeds benefiting Free Fridges of AVL. Four local chefs are teaming up to prepare 5 courses (with beverage pairings!) with the shared goal of giving back to the amazing communities where we are lucky to do business. Beverage pairings will feature our friends from Two Trees Distillery in Fletcher — non-alcoholic option available!

$125 ticket includes 5 courses & beverage pairings + tax. Passed Appetizers & “cocktail” hour will be from 5-6pm. We’ll sit at 6pm for the soup course.

Chefs Jamie Wade (of Sand Hill Kitchen), Amber Cate (Private Chef), Dawn Alexander (Crust Never Sleeps Bakery) & Jill Heaton (Ivory Road) will be preparing the menu:

1- Passed Welcome Bites by Chef Jill

2- Carrot Ginger Soup with Goat Cheese Gougères by Chef Dawn

3- Seasonal Salad by Chefs Amber & Dawn

4- Bourbon Glazed Pork Chop with Dilly, Zesty White Beans, Fresh Peas & Asparagus with Bourbon Jus by Chef Jamie

5- Deconstructed Strawberry Rhubarb Pavlova with Cream Cheese Mousse, Cake Crumbles, and Rhubarb Vanilla Bean Coulis by Chef Amber

The option to sit outside will be entirely weather-dependent. If the weather does not cooperate, anyone who chose an outdoor seating option WILL have an indoor seat reserved! Indoor seating will be at communal tables, with the exception of 2 bar seats and 2 “kitchen counter” seats.
